The Fox network have announced the line-up for this year's Teen Choice Awards, unveiling who will be joining X Factor star Demi Lovato for the July 22 ceremony. In amongst the usual choices, however, rest a few unlikely appearances. Aimed, obviously, at the teen market, the awards will be filled to the brim with a host of TV and music stars, many of whom are teens themselves and many of whom are America's finest exponents of the brighter side of life. And then there's Gordon Ramsay, casually and somewhat inexplicably thrown into the mix. Let's just hope he minds his language for a change.
Of the better-suited appearances for the evening, teen pop star Justin Bieber will be a highlight for many in attendance. His girlfriend Selena Gomez is also scheduled to put in an appearance. Joining Bieber on the list of performers is Carly Rae Jepsen, whose single 'Call Me Maybe' has become a hit across the globe. No Doubt will also be putting on a show for their young fans, as will Flo Rida and DJ Pauly D will be spinning tunes for the evening.
The awards are presented each year to celebrate successful teens in the world of music, television, film, sports - Ellen Degeneres have also been confirmed to make an appearance.
