Twisted Sister star Dee Snider still can't believe his Motley Crue rival Vince Neil didn't serve more jail time for his role in the crash that cost Hanoi Rocks drummer Nicholas 'Razzle' Dingley his life.
Neil was behind the wheel when his Pantera sportscar collided with another vehicle as he was driving Dingley to a party at his California home on 8 December, 1984. The Hanoi Rocks star died instantly and the occupants of the other car were seriously injured.
The Motley Crue singer was arrested at the scene and charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving under the influence of alcohol. He was later sentenced to 30 days in jail, but got out after 15 for good behaviour, and Snider is still angry about the fact Neil wasn't more harshly punished.
"There were two other women who were in a van who were permanently crippled from that famous car accident that killed Razzle," the famously tee-total We're Not Gonna Take It singer told Yahoo Music, "and people are cool with that. They're like, 'Yeah, all right! Rock 'n' roll!!'
"The guy didn't do any serious jail time. I'm, like, 'Really? Really? He's a murderer.' I don't get that at all."
