Davina Mccall has entered the 'Ultimate Big Brother' house - and has been set a secret task.

The reality show host entered the compound earlier today (08.09.10) to pay a visit to the housemates, and was confronted By The Tree of Temptation almost immediately.

It said: "Oi, Dave, it's me the Tree, what on earth are you doing in here?

"Guess what McCall I want you to do something for me. If you have a rummage in my drawers you will find letters from home for each of the housemates. You must get each housemate on their own, tell them they're your favourite housemate, and then read them a letter from home."

The evil furniture then made a joke out of Davina's iconic line from the eviction shows, and added: "Oh, and you are not live on Channel 4 so you can swear as much as you like."

She replied: "That's a f***ing relief!"

However, the 42-year-old host almost broke down in tears when the Tree added: "I love you."

She said: "Don't be nice to me or I might cry."

Davina - who is a self-confessed huge 'Big Brother' fan - has been spending the afternoon speaking to the housemates and reading them the notes from their loved-ones.

She had originally planned to spend 24 hours in the compound, but since her husband asked her not to, she will now leave this evening.

She recently explained: "He said, 'You sleeping is the only bit of you I get to myself'. That's quite a winner isn't it."
