David Hasselhoff is to reprise the TV soap role that first made him famous after signing on to return to hit U.S. show THE YOUNG & The Restless.
The Baywatch creator's Dr. William 'Snapper' Young character will hit the small screen on Tuesday (15Jun10).
Hasselhoff portrayed the medic for six years and admits it was a shock to the system returning to the show.
He explains, "I was terrified because they don't have cue cards anymore. You really have got to be on your game. You get one take. You rehearse it and you shoot it. It is like jumping out of a plane. You better be ready to open that chute!"
