David Gest leaves, Stephanie Davis loses it - what next?
Even if you don't watch the show, you can't help but know exactly what's going on in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house. It's become one of the most dramatic shows on TV for all the wrong reasons; with death, racism, sexual tension penetrating the air, it's no wonder two contestants have already walked.
Stephanie Davis has created a firestorm
So, the drama kicked off with UKIP spokesman Winston McKenzie predictably annoying the public with his views on same-sex relationships and same-sex adoption, and he eventually got a formal warning from Big Brother not for putting across his bigoted views, but for making Nancy Dell'Olio feel uncomfortable with his sexual advances. Gest is the second housemate to walk out this series, following Jonathan Cheban.
David Gest has become the second housemate to walk out of this year’s ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house, following Jonathan Cheban’s exit last week. Gest had been one of the favourites to win the series, but has now left ‘due to medical reasons’.
David Gest has left the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house.
On Sunday night’s episode David was seen resting in a special room, with a Channel 5 spokesperson explaining: ‘David has been unwell and given time to rest and recuperate in Big Brother’s spare bedroom within the house.’
Contestant Tiffany Pollard thought that Angie Bowie meant that fellow housemate David Gest had died.
‘Celebrity Big Brother’ has become embroiled in a new controversy, with viewers accusing the program makers of exploiting David Bowie’s death for a ratings boost after housemates had become involved in a row after misunderstanding who had actually died.
The late rock star’s first wife, Angie, is one of the contestants on the Channel 5 reality show this year, and was informed of her former husband’s passing by the ‘CBB’ team off air. Which some felt was bad enough, despite her decision to stay in the show.

More additions include Daniella Westbrook and David Gest.
Yes, it's that time again; 'Celebrity Big Brother' is set to bring another set of semi-celebrities together for another stretch of high tensions, mind games, tears and tantrums, and potential love affairs. The line-up was leaked ahead of the official announcement, but it turns out that the rumours are true for this year's set.
Gemma Collins goes from 'I'm A Celeb...' to 'Celebrity Big Brother'
This year's group consists of soap actors, reality stars, international socialites and, for good measure, a politician. Most of them are cast-offs from 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here', though 'Big Brother' could prove to be even more of a rough ride than the jungle - even despite being well fed.
