Veteran actor David Carradine is "surprised" director Quentin Tarantino failed to land a Golden Globe nomination for his efforts on the movie KILL BILL: VOL 2.

Carradine and his leading lady Uma Thurman picked up nods for their roles, but Tarantino failed to receive a nomination - which has stunned Carradine.

He says, "I must have had 80 people coming up to me saying, 'Congratulations," (after I was nominated). And I'm glad about Uma's nomination; she really deserves it.

"I was just surprised they didn't nominate Quentin."
