Top music industry legal eagle David Braun has died, aged 81.
The lawyer, who represented stars like Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, George Harrison and Michael Jackson, passed away last week (23Jan13).
Braun is credited with improving publishing deals for his clients and setting the standard in rights agreements that are still in practice today.
He negotiated major deals for Harrison and Jackson and was also involved in the founding of The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
