David Beckham is set to take legal action against a US Magazine that published claims the former England football captain slept with prostitutes, reports the Associated Press. His management company have said in a statement that the allegations in the weekly 'In Touch' are "completely untrue and totally ridiculous as the magazine was clearly told before publication".
Beckham has been married for 11-years to Victoria Beckham, a former Spice Girl turned model and fashion designer, and the couple have three sons together. However, the magazine quotes a 26-year-old woman, Irma Nici, as saying she slept with Beckham five times when working as a prostitute in 2007, she also claims that the star slept with another prostitute. The statement from Beckham's management went on to state, "Sadly we live in a world where a magazine can print lies and believe they can get away with it. We are taking legal action against the magazine"
