Soccer star David Beckham broke his two-month silence over his alleged extramarital affairs during a press conference for the ENGLAND football team yesterday (25MAY05).

The hunky sportsman spoke to media at the team's training camp in Sardinia, where the football players are getting in shape for the EURO 2004 championships next month (JUN04).

Besides talking about soccer, Beckham took the opportunity to personally set the record straight for the first time on rumours he enjoyed secret romps with his former PA REBECCA LOOS and Malaysian model SARAH MARBECK, behind his pop star wife VICTORIA's back.

Beckham blasts, "The way I and my family have been treated is an absolute disgrace.

"At the end of the day, I'm a nice person and loving husband and father.

"I've been called a bad father, I've been called a bad husband and my wife has been called a bad mother. Things always hurt that are said about my family, and for people to call my wife a bad mother is unbelievable.

"I'm a strong person, I'm a strong family man, I'm a strong husband and a strong father."

The outburst is the first time Beckham has publicly discussed the alleged infidelities. When the Loos and Marbeck stories first broke last month (APR04), the Beckhams issued a press statement, labelling the allegations "ludicrous".
