David Arquette is ''going back to his roots'' and plans to open a late night venue in the New Year.
David Arquette is opening a nightclub.
Speaking of his plans for the club, David told E! News: "There will be singing and dancing, a live band and puppets. Not Muppets. They're gonna be grown-up puppets.
"It's getting back to my roots. My family goes back to Vaudeville. It'll be a place for people to go to perform."
David - who previously invested in the Hollywood nightspot Beacher's Madhouse but pulled out after a few months - is not the only celebrity to buy their own nightclub.
Both Jay-Z and Pete Wentz are regular visitors to their music venues in New York, with the hip-hop star often accompanied to The 40/40 Club by wife Beyonce Knowles and the former Fall Out Boy rocker recently taking new girlfriend Meagan Camper to his Angels and Kings nightspot, which is co-owned by Travie McCoy and Yellow Fever clothing designer Jamison Ernest.
