Congratulations are in order for David Arquette and his girlfriend Christina McLarty, they're having a baby!
David Arquette is going to become a father again.
The American actor is expecting his first child with girlfriend, Christina McLarty, according to sources close to the on-and-off pair and she is already in her 4th month, TMZ reports.
Arquette already is a father to 9 year-old Coco Arquette, whom he had with ex-wife Courteney Cox.
The 'Scream 4' actor has been dating his 'Entertainment Tonight' correspondent beau since the summer of 2011, they briefly split in mid-2012 due to apparent long distance issues but quickly reconciled. "Sadly I'm single again," Arquette tweeted at the time. "A long distance relationship proved to be too difficult."
A source close to David told the magazine, Us Weekly, they were trying to keep the news private but "it came as a surprise. They are excited and happy even though this was unexpected."
In late October 2013 the pregnant McLarty gushed to Us Weekly about her and Arquette's relationship status, "We are totally happy and together in love, but we are not engaged," she said. "It's just a rumor that got out of control."
The 42 year-old actor was previously married to 'Friends' star, Courteney Cox, from 1999 until October 2010, after nearly two years of been apart Arquette filed for divorce in June 2012 and it was finalized in May earlier this year (2013).
The baby announcement comes in the midst of some far more negative news as David Arquette, who entered rehab for alcohol abuse in Jan 2011 and has since claimed to be 1000 days sober, seems to be drinking again as the 'Eight Legged Freaks' actor called into 'The Howard Stern Show,' claiming he was "wasted."
Congrats to the happy couple!
