Phin Cooper is a dedicated BMX dirt jumper whose only dream is to become a world-class professional stunt performer. While he has the skills, the energy and the devotion to the sport to get him where he wants to be, his attitude is still somewhat lacking. He wants to compete in the Heroes Of Dirt BMXing competition coming up in Boston, but no sooner has he begun preparing than he finds himself arrested for persistent trespassing, damaging city property and running (or riding) from the cops. The court orders 300 hours of community service; every afternoon for 45 days he must perform cleaning duties at a local youth center. However, it's there he meets a troubled kid named Blue, who Phin takes under his wing and introduces to the world of BMX riding. With a clearer vision of his future, Phin is ready to take his new friend to the top with him.
