US comedian Dave Chappelle has vowed never to return to his show on cable network Comedy Central, if bosses carry out plans to make new episodes using old material.
The star walked away from the show and a $50 million (GBP29 million) contract with the network last May (05). He has yet to return, despite resuming standup comedy performances.
Network bosses keen to satisfy impatient fans have been planning to make new shows from old clips of Chappelle - but the funnyman is furious and is urging fans to boycott the series.
He says, "I feel like it's kind of a bully move. That's just how I feel about it.
"I don't know if that's the case. But if people don't watch it, then I'd be more than happy."
"But I think if they air that stuff, I can't see how I'm going to be able to.
"That will damage our relationship."
