British rapper Dappy stormed off stage during his set at the U.K.'s Isle of Wight Festival on Saturday (14Jun14) after he was reportedly confronted with a chorus of boos from the crowd.

The former N-Dubz star was one of the acts performing on the event's Big Top Stage, but he kicked off the show 15 minutes late and then struggled with technical difficulties as he played a short medley of his own tracks.

He left the crowd waiting again as he walked off stage for 10 minutes, only to return to a booing audience, prompting him to storm off stage 30 minutes before his set was due to end.

The star has yet to comment on the walk-off.

Meanwhile, the Red Hot Chili Peppers closed out Saturday night's festivities as they made their debut at the weekend event, rocking out to hits including Can't Stop, Californication and Give It Away.

Kings of Leon and Suede will headline on Sunday (15Jun14).
