One Direction And Danny DeVito Monkey Around On 'Steal My Girl' Set [Pictures]

We never thought we'd be going 'Awwwwww!' while looking at pictures of One Direction, but the hairy co-star of their forthcoming new music video 'Steal My Girl' is killing us with unwavering cuteness. Those easily overwhelmed, look away now.

It was surprising, not to mention mildly amusing, when it was announced that Danny DeVito would be making an appearance in the video - it made us, admittedly, a little bit curious. But now that we've seen the other special guest on the set, a sunglasses-wearing chimpanzee, we're eager to see him in action.

In an early video teaser, we saw DeVito telling Liam Payne, 'You are power', before the band member proceeded to make a mess in the LA hillside with some purple powder. It's not clear how big a role the 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' star has in the upcoming video for 'Steal My Girl', but we're hoping the chimp gets a fair share of on-screen time.

The single was released earlier this month ahead of their fourth album entitled, well, 'Four', which is out on November 17th 2014. It's the first official single, though fans were gifted with special free download of promotional track 'Fireproof' as a taster in September.

'Four' could be their biggest album project yet with a string of artists having been involved in writing and production, including Ed Sheeran (yet again), McFly, John Legend, Kodaline, The 1975, Emeli Sandé and Naughty Boy. Plus, it follows in the wake of their sell-out world tour 'Where We Are', where they were joined by 5 Seconds Of summer and which they spectacularly rounded off in  Miami earlier this month.

The video for 'Steal My Girl' is officially released on October 24th.
