Dannii Minogue, the Australian pop singer and television personality has reportedly been dropped by clothing giant Marks and Spencer, according to the UK's Metro newspaper. Minogue began promoting the brand whilst working as a judge on The X Factor, but has since left the prime-time reality show.
The singer featured in numerous billboard and television ads for the brand, often seen frolicking with other celebrities such as singer VV Brown and model Ana Beatriz Barros, who have also been axed. Dannii filmed commercials in Miami and South Africa, and featured in a notable Christmas ad where she performed to the Bee Gees hit 'You Should Be Dancing'. It is reported that sixties icon Twiggy, model-turned-radio host LISA SNOWDON and former footballer Jamie Redknapp will remain at the brand. A spokesperson for M&S refused to comment on the specific departure of Minogue, but noted of Brown's exit, "Due to VV's other music commitments, it was mutually agreed that this would be her last campaign" Ana Beatriz's spokesperson said, "This was just one of the many contracts she has running worldwide".
Dannii Minogue, who also works as a designer for fashion label 'Project D', still describes herself as an "M&S girl" in her Twitter bio.
