Teen star Daniel Radcliffe is urging Jk Rowling to ditch Quidditch from future Harry Potter books - as he is too lazy to complete scenes featuring the broom-riding sport.

Radcliffe, who plays the lead role in the wizard saga, insists filming sequences astride a flying broom has lost its appeal.

He says, "Quidditch isn't absolutely necessary in future novels, maybe she could keep it out.

"She has gone on record saying they're a chore to write and they are certainly tough scenes to film, so it would be easier on both of us if there was no Quidditch."
