Daniel Radcliffe has hit out at the "moral outrage" his forthcoming naked performance on Broadway has attracted - accusing critics of double standards.
The Harry Potter star is angry he's hitting the headlines for posing nude in Equus, and the play isn't getting the coverage it deserves.
The teenager, who will disrobe on Broadway later this year (08) - just as he did onstage in London when the play opened there in 2007 - fumes, "There was a sense of moral outrage when it was announced I would be naked.
"I don't understand it because it's just a character. No one actually minded that he (character) blinds six horses. It's a bit of a dose of double standards, which aggravated me slightly."
Peter Shafer's play is about a boy who abuses animals.
