The 25 year-old actor admits his first time having sex was a "really good time."
Unfortunately for wizarding fans, Daniel Radcliffe and Harry Potter are constantly moving further and further apart. The British actor achieved global notoriety portraying the popular boy wizard, but as his career constantly changes, so does his image.
Radcliffe is slowly shedding his Harry Potter character
Since last playing Potter in 2011, Radcliffe has gone onto receive critical acclaim in other films such as 'Kill Your Darlings,' as well as stage productions like 'The Cripple of Inishmaan,' and now it seems the 25 year-old actor is ready to speak candidly about aspects of his personal life previously unknown.
In a candid new interview with Elle magazine, Radcliffe opens up about the daunting experience of losing his virginity, staying sober and the possibility of becoming engaged.
When asked if he would do anything different about having sex for the first time, Radcliffe told the mag, "I'm one of the few people who seem to have had a really good first time."
"It was with somebody I'd gotten to know well," he continued. "I'm happy to say I've had a lot better sex since then, but it wasn't as horrendously embarrassing as a lot of other people's were-like my friend who got drunk and did it with a stranger under a bridge."
The talented actor has been very open about his past struggles with alcohol, and has maintained his sobriety since 2010. But what is better, drunk or sober sex?
"For some people sex might be better drunk, but for me-and the person I'm doing it with-it's much better sober," he honestly replied.
Radcliffe isn't getting engaged anytime soon
Radcliffe, who is currently dating his co-star in 'Kill Your Darling,' Erin Drake, squashed any rumors that claim the pair are engaged, but he wasn't shy on discussing the prospect of marriage his in future.
"I sort of go back and forth on it," he confessed when propped on tying the knot. "It seems like the most romantic thing you can do is stand up in front of all your friends and say that you love this person."
