Daniel Craig has admitted ''stalking'' his co-star Javier Bardem to get him to play James Bond villian Raoul Silva in 'Skyfall'.
The James Bond star wanted Javier to play villain Raoul Silva in the 23rd instalment of the spy franchise so badly that he took to following his favourite Spanish actor, and thinks his efforts paid off because Javier has done a fantastic job.
Daniel explained: ''I'm one of Javier's biggest fans. I'm a bit of a stalker in fact, because I actually did stalk him to get him for this part - I went to a party he was at so I could ask him to do it, and he said yes.''
''It was a lot of fun to shoot. He took the part that way and I think it was a really good choice. I just think it's amusing, light-hearted.
''I hope people find it funny because I certainly do. It makes me laugh every time I see it.''
The 44-year-old actor also spoke of his ''good relationship'' with director Sam Mendes, praising his style of taking charge on set and making working together very easy.
He added to HELLO! magazine: ''Sam kind of includes everybody in that process. You have a good relationship. He works with actors so well, he doesn't try and hide anything or make anything to difficult.
''That, for me, is always an easy way to work. I like working with people. I like figuring problems out, problem solving.''
'Skyfall' is in cinemas from Friday (26.10.12).
