Pop star Daniel Bedingfield is furious after reports in the British press claiming he is being stalked by over-eager fans.
British tabloid THE DAILY STAR last month (21JUL02) reported the GOTTA GET THRU THIS singer had decided to "bolster his personal security" after realising the same two female fans turned up at most of his gigs. One of them, the paper claimed, even managed to get his telephone number.
But Bedingfield has slammed the report, insisting he's not in the least afraid of the devoted twosome.
He says, "The girls they chose to write about are, in fact, very loyal. They've never made me feel uncomfortable and they've always given me space.
"I even rang them up when I saw the story - I didn't want them to feel bad."21/08/2003 21:17
