Daniel Baldwin's estranged model wife Joanne Baldwin has been sentenced to 10 days in prison for violating probation on a drunken driving conviction. Joanne promised a judge on Wednesday (20th July 2011) she would attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings once she is released from prison, reports Msn News.
The model was jailed on 13th July 2011 after her husband reported she became violent after drinking and threatened to kill him. Portland Judge Bruce Shepley told her, "Obviously, alcohol has not been your friend". Daniel, who had filed for divorce and was granted a restraining order against his wife, did not attend the hearing. Joanne told the judge, "I've been quite broken of late.I'm going to try to fix myself". She claimed to use alcohol to medicate her "internal pain", and the judge ordered her to wear an alcohol-measuring device. Daniel, best known for his role as Detective Beau Felton in the Nbc Tv series Homicide: Life on the Street, has reportedly taken the couple's two children out of their house after they witnessed him being punched in the face by Joanne. The family moved to the affluent suburb of Lake Oswego in Portland last year.
Baldwin, who starred on the VH1 reality television show 'Celebrity Rehab with Dr Drew' in 2007, is the brother of actors Alec, Stephen and William.
