Conservative commentator Pat Buchanan has been handed his walking papers by MSNBC executives -- and he is not simply cleaning out his drawers and walking away quietly. In a statement on Thursday, Buchanan blasted his former employer "After 10 enjoyable years, I am departing, after an incessant clamor from the left that to permit me continued access to the microphones of MSNBC would be an outrage against decency, and Dangerous." Indeed, MSNBC President Phil Griffin had removed Buchanan from the station's list of commentators following the release of his controversial book, Suicide of a Superpower , in January. Griffin said at the time that Buchanan's comments weren't "really appropriate for national dialogue." Several bloggers predicted that Fox News will probably sign up Buchanan quickly.
