The winner of Dancing With The Stars season eleven is set to be announced in just a few hours' time, with Bristol Palin, Jennifer Grey, and Kyle Massey, all vying to be crowned this year's victor. However, security at the ABC studios has been dramatically increased after a white powder was discovered there last Friday (19th November 2010).
Although the powder was later found to be merely talcum powder, it has been reported that the perpetrators were intent on intimidating BRISTOL PALIN, and the FBI told TMZ.com, "The L.A.P.D, L.A. City and FBI Hazardous Materials officials responded to a report of a threatening letter containing white powder". Producers of the show have therefore heightened security for tonight's season finale, and a source said, "It's like a scene from 'The Bodyguard', with Bristol playing the leading lady". Last night's episode ran smoothly and no incidents were reported, but security is still said to be on high alert for tonight's show.
JENNIFER GREY scored perfect tens for her two routines on yesterday's show, leaving her well placed to take the crown. However, Palin has a strong public following, and it is expected that her votes will outnumber Grey's, meaning the winner could be too close to call.
