For many years the art of puppetry was only seen as a form of childrens theatre, but in recent years it's become more accepted as a form of high art. Director David Soll follows puppeteer Dan Hurlin as he follows his vison for a play called Disfarmer, Soll spends three years with Hurlin as he develops the puppet character and gradually breaths life into the puppet who's based on the life of portrait photographer, Mike Disfarmer.
