Actor Dan Aykroyd is urging Americans and Canadians to make the best of their domestic attractions this summer (03) - in celebration of the end of the war in Iraq.
The Canadian-born GHOSTBUSTERS star says people living on the North American continent should revel in the lifestyles they have, to appreciate just how lucky they are.
He says, "The gloom of terror and war has to be punched out this summer. These troops fought their asses off to give us a wonderful lifestyle - and it's time to get out there and savour it, enjoy everything the culture has to offer. Theme parks, jazz festivals, concerts.
"Canada and the United States - we've got it made here. What a summer we're going to have. Enjoy it, and start stimulating the economy."15/05/2003 21:32
