The star divorced fashion designer Rachel Roy in 2009, and he lost custody of his two daughters, 15-year-old Ava and seven-year-old Tallulah, in April (15).

He was granted supervised visitation rights, and he subsequently mounted a legal challenge in a bid to spend more time with the girls.

The custody case went back to court in Los Angeles on Thursday (08Oct15), with Dash asking for more regular visits and overnight stays with his daughters, but a judge ruled against him.

During the hearing, the judge upheld Roy's request to continue the supervised visits and ordered the hip-hop veteran to cut out marijuana use for at least 24 hours before he meets with his daughters, according to TMZ.com.
