Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn is thrilled to be headlining Glastonbury tonight (25.06.10) but is concerned about accommodating all his special guests.
The veteran rocker is looking forward to their performance at the world-famous UK music festival tonight (24.06.10) but admits it will be a logistical nightmare as they will be joined by so many special guests.
He said: "It's an amazing privilege to be able to put this together and I hope everyone at Glastonbury is going to feel the same way.
"It's going to be a massive party.
"I think the hardest thing for everyone involved in the fact you walk on, you've got three or four minutes and that's it, unless you're doing two songs. It's a long way for them to come, so it's got to really count."
The singer - who headlined last year's festival with his other group Blur - admitted he still hasn't worked out every aspect of Gorillaz' set because their appearance came at such short notice after U2 pulled out.
He added: "It's just happened, it's fortuitous. I didn't think I was doing Glastonbury, it has all happened so quickly.
"I think that's because everyone wants to do this one. Everyone thinks the 40th anniversary of Glastonbury is an important statement."
