Rocker Damon Albarn has reiterated his plans to record another Blur album, insisting he and his bandmates are hoping to get to work on new music when they're "stuck in the middle of nowhere".

The Parklife singer thrilled fans earlier this month (May13) when he announced the Britpop quartet was working on a new project at a concert in Hong Kong.

The news came just months after Albarn and his bandmates reportedly halted recording sessions last year (12), shortly before announcing they were winding down as a group.

And, in a new Rolling Stone interview, the singer says, "We've got a couple of occasions when we're stuck in the middle of nowhere.

"So we might make the record in a week. If we can, it would be nice."
