Damon Albarn has confirmed the members of Blur are heading back to the recording studio in 2009 - to see if they can salvage their relationship.
The Britpop band spiralled downwards after guitarist Graham Coxon quit during the recording of the album Think Tank, but both he and Albarn have hinted at a possible reunion in recent months.
Although the group hasn't officially split, they haven't performed or recorded together as Blur since 2003.
And now frontman Albarn reveals there are plans to get back together early in the New Year.
He says, "Blur are certainly going to rehearse and see if we're into it."
