The spiritual guru will visit the Somerset, England site on Sunday (28Jun15), and talk to revellers in the Green Fields part of the festival, where his Tibetan Monks performed in 2013.
He'll also be treated to a guided tour of the farmland site, which has been transformed into a tent city for the weekend, by organiser Emily Eavis, who says, "We're honoured to welcome the Dalai Lama to Glastonbury 2015. He will be talking in the Green Fields and exploring the farm this Sunday as part of his trip to the U.K. What a special moment for the festival!"
The festival gates opened on Wednesday (24Jun15), but the performance part of the event doesn't officially begin until Friday (26Jun15). This year's headliners are Kanye West, The Who and Florence + the MAChine, who have stepped in to replace previously announced bill toppers the Foo Fighters.
