Dakota Fanning feels "lucky" to have been able to attend high school.
The 16-year-old 'Twilight: Eclipse' actress was delighted to have still been able to lead a normal teenage life and insists none of her classmates treat her differently, despite her celebrity status.
Dakota - who is a cheerleader at her school - said: "I've been able to have a really great experience and it's almost over. I can't believe it!"
The teenage star was particularly delighted to attend her school prom recently.
She added to People magazine: "I went with a group of friends, I think you put more effort into getting ready before than actually you spend at the place. But it was so much fun."
Dakota also spoke about how much she enjoys working on the 'Twilight Saga' - in which she plays the villainous Vulturi Jane - because she gets to spend so much time with her close friend and 'The Runaways' co-star Kristen Stewart
She said: "It's so fun. I've done a few movies with Kristen Stewart now, and she's become one of my best friends, so it's always fun to be with her. The cast is also fun and so nice and [we] have really become very close."
