Dakota Fanning has been cast in Errol Flynn biopic 'The Last of Robin Hood', which tells the story of the actor's affair with teenager Beverley Aadland.
Dakota Fanning has landed the female lead in 'The Last of Robin Hood'.
Kevin, 65, will play the actor in his final years before his death of a heart attack aged 50.
In his remaining months, Errol began an affair with 15-year-old starlet Beverly, who remained by his side when he died.
The couple's affair started in 1957 while 'The Adventures of Robin Hood' actor was married to fellow actress Patrice Wymore, and also followed his being cleared of statutory rape charges in 1942.
The film - titled in reference to Errol's most famous role - was written by Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland, who are also expected to direct.
Dakota and Kevin are joined in the cast by Susan Sarandon as Beverly's mother, Florence, who wrote tell-all book 'The Big Love' about the affair.
Meanwhile, Dakota will also appear as the title character in 'Effie', a biopic about Victorian art critic John Ruskin (played by Greg Wise) and his love triangle with his wife Effie Gray and artist John Everett Millais (Tom Sturridge).
