Daisy Lowe (born 27.01.1989)
Daisy Lowe is a London-based model who has featured in Burberry, French Connection, and Agent Provocateur advertisements and in magazines such as Vogue, GQ and Elle. Daisy's parents are the musicians Pearl Lowe and Gavin Rossdale.
Daisy Rebecca Lowe was born on 27th January 1989 and grew up in Primrose Hill, North London. At that time Daisy's mother, Pearl Lowe, was married to Bronner Handwerger. However, in 2004 a paternity test proved that Daisy's biological father was her godfather Gavin Rossdale, front man with the British rock band Bush, who married No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani in 2002. During the 1990s Pearl was singer songwriter in the Britpop bands Lodger and Powder, and has been married to Danny Goffey from Supergrass since 1995. Daisy Lowe has three step-siblings on her mother's side: Alfie (born P1996), Frankie (born 1999) and Betty (born 2005); and two on her father's side: Kingston James (born 2006) and Zuma Nesta Rock (born 2008).
Daisy began modeling as a young child and signed with the London modeling agency Select after being spotted by talent scouts in Camden Town when she was 15. When Pearl moved to Hampshire, Daisy stayed in London with her grandparents in order to continue her education. Daisy began modeling for Agent Provocateur lingerie in 2005 and her career took off in 2006 when she appeared in a Steven Klein photo shoot in Italian Vogue. Daisy has featured in various fashion and lifestyle magazines, including Grazia, Tatler, and the British Harper's Bazaar and has modeled for clothes lines such as Converse shoes, Hooch, Karen Millen , Whistles, and Pearl Lowe's own fashion range. As well as being chosen by Karl Lagerfeld to model for Chanel, Daisy has experience of catwalks in New York, Milan and London for designers including Vivienne Westwood and Topshop. Daisy has even hosted events for Dolce & Gabbana and Tommy Hilfiger.
Daisy's interest in music and art has led her to appear in music videos for Armand Van Helden and Dirty Pretty Things. She has also worked as a DJ and recorded a track with producer and musician Mark Ronson, with whom she was romantically linked until September 2008. Prior to this she had appeared in i-D magazine with Will Cameron of the band Blondelle, her partner at the time. In 2008 Daisy moved to New York to pursue her modeling career.
Now we know Jemima Kirke and Alice Dellal are cousins we can't believe we didn't guess before! Did you know that these other celebrities are also related to each other?
Who knew that Brazilian Chanel model Alice Dellal was cousins with Jemima Kirke AKA Jessa from Girls?! Well, she bloomin’ well is! Dellal recently posted a video on her Instagram account of the pair dancing about in their underpants to the Jackson 5, along with the caption ‘Jemima gets “grounded” so we stay in and dance to jackson5’. We guess this must be a pretty old video if the 28 year old mother of two was “grounded”, the pair also look fairly young; however, we can still imagine Jemima jumping around in her underwear these days, so we just don't know! We have to admit, now that we’ve seen the pair together we can’t believe we didn’t put two and two together before, they look totally similar!

Will Alexa try to arm wrestle her favourite designer to some high fashion swag?
Designer Christopher Kane drew a fashionable collection of stars for his London Fashion Week Spring Summer 2014 show, including Anna Wintour, Samantha Cameron, Pixie Geldof, Daisy Lowe and Alexa Chung who got comfy on the F-row and were wowed by the Scottish designer's SS collection to a Pink Floyd soundtrack.
Alexa Chung Was Amongst The Guests At Christopher Kane's Show.
With Kane's catwalk spectacle, dubbed "undoubtedly the show of the season so far," also came the announcement that his brand will join Lanvin, Marc Jacobs and Vivienne Westwood at the exclusive shopping destination in London's Mayfair by launching their flagship store.
Well there was no denying who the biggest name at the Elle Style Awards was last night, as Oscar-nominee and Silver Linings Playbook actor Bradley Cooper turned up to the UK capital of London last night dressed in a suave looking blue suit with checked tie ensemble (February 11, 2013). However he was far from the only one to turn the heads of the paparazzi as many of the great and good turned out for the annual bash which, far from what it's name would suggest, also awards leading performances in film and television.

The Sun have reported that the on again off again couple may well be on again, after they struggled to keep their hands off each other at this week’s Esquire & Tommy Hilfger London Collection party, where Lowe was DJing.
Apparently, Daisy’s PR people were keen to ensure that she and Matt weren’t photographed together and even “jumped into the shot to stop a pap snapping the cosy pair.” The couple made “a big deal” of arriving separately so that they wouldn’t be photographed together but were apparently “all over each other” once they got inside. Daisy was DJ-ing at the event at The Zetter Townhouse, which was also attended by Tinie Tempah, who arrived in a snazzy looking Mercedes, Matt Smith’s chum Benedict Cumberbatch and The Kills’ Jamie Hince. The recently married Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood was also there with his new wife Sally Humphreys.

Err...what happened to Daisy Lowe at the Tommy Hilfiger and Esquire after-party held at The Zetter Townhouse in London on Monday (January 7, 2013)? Wearing a classic leather jacket, floral print top and biker boots, the model looked a little confused and appeared to be acting strangely. Perhaps she was just a little excited (or nervous) to run into her ex-boyfriend Matt Smith, who was also in attendance. Nevertheless, Daisy, 23, tried out her skills at entertaining the star-studded crowd on the decks before carrying on partying with her fellow celebrities.
The Doctor himself was looking pretty dapper in a long winter coat, paisley scarf, black trousers and heavy boots. His close friend Benedict Cumberbatch also attended the bash, as did Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood and his new wife Sally Humphreys. The couple tied the knot two-weeks ago in a ceremony at London's Dorchester Hotel. Sally, 34, beamed with delight as she arrived on the arm of her 65-year-old husband wearing a cream dress and glittery heels. Elsewhere, the omnipresent Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw decided on a night on the tiles despite his early morning wake-up call, and was pictured with Kate Moss' rocker husband Jamie Hince. Grimshaw opted for a well-tailored suit, though looked in need of a serious haircut.
Sophie Dahl and Jamie Cullum are adding to their brood! The Mirror have pictured Sophie and Jamie together at the Harper’s Bazaar’s Women of the Year awards bash at Claridge’s in London. Sophie was sporting not only a beautifully patterned green, blue and black dress but was also sporting a bit of a baby bump, too. The actress and TV cook confirmed that she and jazz singer Jamie are indeed awaiting a new arrival. They already have a daughter, Lyra, who was born in March 2011.
The couple attended the glamorous awards ceremony, which also boasted guests such as Erin O’Connor and Yasmin Le Bon, with whom Sophie is already familiar, from her modelling days. The former X Files star Gillian Anderson was also in attendance, as was Rosamund Pike and Daisy Lowe.
Amongst the winners at the Woman of the Year awards were Team GB Olympics athletes Jessica Ennis, Victoria Pendleton and Ellie Simmonds, who were all awarded a British Ambassador of the Year prize. Emily Blunt, Marion Cotillard and Stella Mccartney were all also awarded prizes during the star-studded ceremony. It’s been a successful week for Jessica Ennis, in particular, who was crowned the Ultimate Olympian at the Cosmopolitan’s own awards the nigt before, at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
