Country music star Craig Morgan has raised more than $70,000 (£43,750) for his children's charity by hosting a motocross race and a concert in Tennessee.
The singer staged the annual event for the sixth time over the weekend (11-12Aug12) to raise money for his Craig Morgan Charity Fund, which aims to build a home for temporarily displaced youngsters in the state.
Musician Bucky Covington was among the all-star riders in the DICkson County race on Saturday (11Aug12), while country singer Darryl Worley took to the stage in the evening for a show - and Morgan was overjoyed to have so much support.
He says, "Year-after-year, I am blown away by the support for this event from our celebrity friends, and the DICkson and Middle Tennessee communities.
"I am so proud of the amount of money raised to help the children and families in this area, and am already looking forward to our seventh annual event next summer."
