British R'n'B star Craig David has beaten pop rival Robbie Williams in the race to crack the American charts.

Former Take That legend Robbie has been trying to break into the US for three years without success.

But FILL ME IN chart topper Craig has succeeded in just half the time - selling 1.5 million copies of his album BORN TO DO IT in the States.

Craig's second album SLICKER THAN AVERAGE has reached almost a million sales over there.
