Craig David has announced he’ll be releasing new album Following My Intuition on September 30th. It’s the first new record from David since his 2010 album Signed Sealed Delivered and it will feature single ‘When The Bassline Drops’, which hit number two on the UK dance charts last year.

Announcing his comeback album David said: “I’m back in that 16-year-old kid mode, hungry, passionate and making music that I’m truly proud of. I want to deliver the music that people have been asking for, for so long, following my intuition and coming from a great place.”

The album’s release also marks 17 years since David first broke onto the music scene when he featured on Artful Dodger’s 1999 track ’Re-Rewind’. He then released his first solo album, Born to Do It, which featured hits ‘Walking Away’ and ‘7 Days’.

Following My Intuition will have guest appearances from a number of artists including Big Narstie, Blonde, Lauren Faith and Sigala, who feautre on David’s latest single ‘Ain’t Giving Up’. The album's deluxe edition will also come with four additional tracks including ‘No Holding Back’, which features Dutch DJ Hardwell.

David will perform at V Festival this weekend and next month he has further festival appearances lined up at Fusion and Bestival. He will also be playing two headlining gigs at Brixton O2 Academy on October 20 and  21 as well as Manchester Academy the next day.
