Executives at U.S. TV network Lifetime are developing an unauthorised tell-all movie about the drama behind the drama of the 1990s show, which starred Grant Show, Andrew Shue, Courtney Thorne-Smith and Heather Locklear, among others.
The project follows the success of a similar TV movie venture chronicling the history of hit U.S. show Saved By the Bell.
Projects focused on the story behind the hits Full House and Beverly Hills, 90210 are also in development at Lifetime.

Former Ally Mcbeal star Courtney Thorne-Smith is glad she waited to start a family late in life because she would have been a terrible role model when she was a fitness-crazed 20-something.
The actress is expecting her first child at 39 and believes past attempts to get pregnant fell flat because she wasn't ready to be a good mum.
She tells USA Today newspaper, "Children learn what they live, and I'm in such a good place now. I dealt with my compulsive exercise years ago. "I do believe I was only able to get pregnant because I dealt with my issues."
Former Ally Mcbeal star Courtney Thorne-Smith is to quit hit U.S. TV sitcom ACCORDING TO JIM as a new mum both on and offscreen.
The actress hopes to return to playing Jim Belushi's onscreen wife in the future, but insists she'll be taking a break to play mum first.
Thorne-Smith's pregnancy is to written into the comedy series' upcoming season.
The 39-year-old tells USA Today newspaper, "My character is going to get pregnant, and hopefully it will be soon, because I'm growing by leaps and bounds.
"I'll probably shoot at least 10 episodes, and then they're going to do half the season without me because I'll be done. I have no idea how they're going to write me out.
"Then, if the timing works out, I would certainly come back."
Courtney Thorne-Smith decided to have a low-key wedding the second time around after she appeared on the cover of America's InStyle magazine in a bridal gown just days after announcing her divorce in 2001.
The former Ally Mcbeal star married first husband ANDREW CONRAD in June 2000, with the couple announcing their divorce just six months later in January 2001, just as the lavish photo spread from their nuptials was hitting newsstands.
The 39-year-old tied the knot for the second time with digital marketing company owner ROGER FISHMAN on New Year's Day (01JAN07) and was determined to keep the event intimate.
She says, "It was just us, our two dogs, two friends and the rabbi. (The dogs) were our groomsmen. I'm not crazy about weddings, so we thought we'd just do it ourselves.
The ACCORDING TO JIM star was so casual about planning the event, she didn't even know what she was wearing until the last minute.
She adds, "The day before we were supposed to get married I was having coffee with my girlfriends and I said, 'I think I'm going to wear a dress' and they were like, 'Honey, it's too late!'
"I said, 'No, I think I'm going to wander over to this boutique.' The boutique next door (to the coffee shop) found my dress the day before. Dress, shoes, necklace, everything - it was perfect!"

Summer School is a lame and obvious stunt piece, but damn if it doesn't know it. Mark Harmon's a lazy teacher stuck with the worst students in school for summer classes. Eventually he's tasked with getting them to pass The Big Test, only to find that they're completely unmotivated and that one of them is totally illiterate. In fact, his job is on the line if they fail. What happens next is probably familiar to anyone who went to high school in America: The students bargain with the teacher; they'll try hard if he lets them use his car, throw a party in his house, and so on.

He's not joking, and if you've ever heard any of Shoemaker's stand-up material, you know what you're in for with his feature film, where Shoemaker blends his multiple stage personalities with stories about growing up, the mysteries of women, and 1970s television, the result being a campy goulash of howlingly-funny comedy.
