Courtney Love has settled an ongoing dispute with attorneys who represented her in a legal battle against her late husband Kurt Cobain's Nirvana bandmates. Lawyers Katherine Hendricks and Yale Lewis claimed Love owed them more than $340,000 (GBP170,000) for their work in a 2002 copyright battle, which the former Hole star won, picking up an estimated $9 million (GBP4.5 million). In the case, Love sued Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Nirvana's record company over their plans to release the band's back catalogue as part of a box set. The Seattle Weekly claims Love settled the case with her former lawyers for an undisclosed sum just before the case was scheduled to go to trial on Wednesday (19Sep07).
