Rocker Courtney Love has given her blessing to Eric Erlandson's book about her late husband Kurt Cobain, as long as he leaves out details of the Hole co-stars' short-lived romance.
Erlandson has written a poetry book about the tragic Nirvana star, and the work is due to hit stores next month (Apr12).
Love, who fell out her former Hole bandmate over the use of the group's name, has surprisingly sanctioned the book - on condition Erlandson plays down their brief romantic involvement.
She tells the New York Daily News, "I wish him well. Even more than (Nirvana rockers) Dave (Grohl) and (Krist) Novoselic, Eric was family... I just hope he didn't write that we dated. We had sex, yes, but I don't date."
