Troubled rocker Courtney Love is facing yet another legal battle after musician KRISTEN KING filed a civil lawsuit accusing the star of assault.
King was staying the night with Love's former boyfriend when the singer allegedly attacked her with a bottle and dragged her by the hair.
The Hole frontwoman admits some of the allegations and has paid $3000 (GBP1,600) compensation to the musician.
But King's lawyer Gloria Allred is seeking further damages. She says, "This was an unwarranted and vicious attack."
The lawsuit was filed moments after a Los Angeles judge ordered Love to spend six months in a rehabilitation facility after a drugs-related incident saw her break the probation conditions set after previous convictions for assault and illegal possession of prescription painkillers.
