Courteney Cox doesn't want to ''rush'' Coco Arquette's rise to fame.

The 50-year-old actress thinks her 10-year-old daughter with ex-husband David Arquette is an amazing singer and has no doubt she will eventually carve out a showbiz career, but wants her to enjoy her childhood first.

She told Us Weekly magazine: ''She's so good, it's haunting. I think she'll be an actor-slash-singer of some sort. But I don't want to rush that.''

Coco makes a cameo with David, 43, in Courteney's new film 'Just Before I Go' and also sings over the credits.

The former 'Friends' star previously revealed Coco performed at David's wedding to Christina McLarty earlier this year.

She said: ''She's a really good singer. I don't know where she got it from.

''She sang 'I Will Always Love You' at David's wedding. That's a hard song!''

Her daughter is also very excited to be involved in Courteney's upcoming wedding to Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid, 38.

She added: ''Coco is very excited about the wedding. I was going to hire a wedding planner, but apparently she wants to do it. She's 10, but she wants to do everything. She wants to be the maid of honor, which I think is weird. She wants to be the flower girl, all the bridesmaids. She's very excited about it.''
