Cosmic Rough Riders
Cosmic Rough Riders, make a return with a new single and album. The record is laden with the kind of irresistible melodies they're loved for, backed by a toughened-up guitar crunch and vocal harmonies that give you tingles in all the right places. "The Stars Look Different From Down Here" released on May 22nd on Korova/Warner Music. Lead-off single, 'In Time' out on May 8thâ tells you it's business as usual for the Cosmics.
Cosmic Rough Riders are a Glasgow based band â Mark Brown (drums and backing vocals); James Clifford (bass and backing vocals) and Stephen Fleming (lead vocals and guitars). They were originally formed in 1998 â and since then, they've had five critically acclaimed albums (one of them earning the band a silver disc) and four top 40 singles.
The band have been gigging solidly to a rabid fan base â which has taken them all over the world, in fact one tour saw them play 50 shows in 44 days, not forgetting their back to back dates in Los Angeles and New York City! They've performed at several major festivals both in the UK and further a field, including a main stage slot at Fuji Rock in Japan . They have appeared as guests of several other touring artists and were twice invited to appear as special guests of U2 when they performed in Scotland.
