British pop star Conor Maynard was escorted from a supermarket on his 18th birthday after becoming embroiled in an argument with a cashier over buying an age-rated video game.
The Can't Say No hitmaker, 19, now carries formal identification with him everywhere he goes after his milestone birthday was marred by an angry exchange over his attempt to buy a game with an age 15 rating certificate.
He tells Britain's Celebs on Sunday magazine, "(I get Id'd for alcohol) all the time. I can't get anywhere without Id. On my 18th birthday I was escorted out of Sainsbury's (supermarket) for getting annoyed at the cashier.
"They wouldn't sell me a certificate 15 video game because I didn't have Id on me. They thought I looked 14 on my 18th birthday."
