Hang Me Up To Dry
Bands to watch for 2007? - Cold War Kids have undoubtedly been named one of them. After a handful of impressive UK dates with Two Gallants and a short spell in Europe, Cold War Kids rapidly staggered onlookers with their soulful yet chaotic live shows, and are set to return again in February to support Clap Your Hand Say Yeah on tour, and release this, the second single from their stunning debut album due out in February 2007.
Hang me up to dry, is due for release January 29th and displays the true nature of the band's diverse song writing skills, sharp musicianship and inspirational story telling. 'Hang Me Up To Dry' is all fuzzed up guitar menace, swaggering along to an irresistible grove as chaotic piano and bicycle chain rhythms lurk low in the mix. It's a killer track that blows everyone away in their lives sets.
The first EP from Cold War Kids (from Long Beach, LA) was released on Nov 27th via V2 recordings.
