Clint Eastwood tried to walk away from quirky musical western PAINT YOUR WAGON when it started morphing into a film he didn't sign up for.
The movie star, who famously crooned I TALK TO THE TREES in the 1969 film, admits the film he agreed to make with co-star Lee Marvin was nothing like the end result.
He reveals, "They started out with a real dramatic plotline... When they changed it around, I tried to bail out. It wasn't my favourite (movie)."21/01/2005 10:00
