Clint Eastwood and his wife of 17 years, Dina Eastwood (neé Ruiz), have decided to call it quits with their marriage. Dana revealed the news herself, speaking with Us Weekly to reveal that she and her husband had grown further and further apart over the years and come to the conclusion that there was little point staying together.

Dana told the publication that the split was a mutual one, done with the consent of both parties. The 48-year-old former news reporter also revealed that she and Clint had been separated for a while already and as things hadn't improved between the two during the break in their marriage, the two decided to end things for good. Clint's manager has since commented on Dana's claims, stating that he knows noting about these claims.
They end 17-years of marriage
Friends of the couple have also spoken with the magazine about the end of the relationship, with one commenting that the pair have been living separately for around a year now. The source, who agreed that the split was "amicable," revealed that the pair split up over a year ago, initially putting a hold on their marriage in June 2012. The insider said, "Clint fell out of love with Dina a long time ago."
Clint and Dana were married on March 31, 1996, and had their first and only child, 16-year-old daughter Morgan, together a year later. Morgan was Eastwood's eighth child in total, with only two of his other child born to his first wife Maggie Johnson; daughter, Alison, and a son, Kyle. His other kids were all born from relationships out of wedlock.
