Sir Cliff Richard wowed customers at a local restaurant in Tennessee when he donned an apron and traded places with the chef.
The British singer was enjoying a meal with friends at Gus's Fried Chicken in Memphis when one pal bet Richard $800 (Gbp500) he couldn't cook up something as tasty.
The hitmaker accepted the challenge and served nearly 20 customers in just 30 minutes.
Richard's dinner companion and longtime collaborator, Candi Staton, says, "I have never seen a white man cook Cajun fried rice and southern potato salad like Cliff. He's obviously got a lot of soul in that rather lean body of his."
Customers at the eatery were so impressed with the singer's skills, the restaurant owner even offered the Young Ones singer a job.
