AMERICAN IDOL star Clay Aiken is sharing his nightmarish memories as a victim of school bullies in a bid to give youngsters the strength they need to fight back.
The singer will appear on America's top advice show Dr Phil today (19APR05) to recall how he tolerated bullies when he was growing up.
In the taped special about bullying in schools, Aiken confessed, "It was a really tough time. Middle school's really tough - I think everybody has trouble with middle school.
"It's about finding out who you are and being happy with who you are and being comfortable with who you are, because everybody in middle school is confused."
Aiken's TV appearance is an extension to the bullying memories he wrote about in his book LEARNING TO SING, in which he wrote, "I was dubbed a loser throughout most of my childhood... a nerd who loved his grandparents."19/04/2005 21:53
