Claire Danes felt ''delirious'' at the Golden Globe Awards.
The 33-year-old actress - who picked up the Best Actress in a TV Drama Series honour at last night's (13.01.13) ceremony for her work on 'Homeland' - made her first public appearance at the ceremony since giving birth to son Cyrus last month and admitted it took some adjusting to being away from the little boy.
Claire - who is married to Hugh Dancy -said: ''I'm deliriously happy and also excited to be in this scene because I've been so sequestered. I've been in baby world.
''I'm a little delirious. [Cyrus] is doing really well. He's upstairs with my parents, this is their first time babysitting.''
Claire donned a red Versace gown for the awards, and admitted she was concerned about ''leaking'' in the daring dress, but hoped she had timed her little boy's feeds carefully enough for this not to happen.
She added: ''I've been in sweatpants for quite awhile, so this is exciting. I'm hoping I don't leak anytime soon.
''I'm going to feed him after the red carpet and then go to the ceremony. We're timing it out very carefully... We've taken precautionary measures.''
And the blonde beauty - who shot much of the second season of 'Homeland', in which she plays CIA agent Carrie Mathison, while pregnant - thanked her little boy in her acceptance speech when she picked up the award, and also paid tribute to production staff for their support.
She said: ''I have to thank our son Cyrus - who's upstairs with my parents right now - for joining me throughout the whole process and for being so game in fighting this war against terrorism.
''I admitted to everyone on our show early on in our season that I was with child - that Carrie was in fact carrying. They were all so, so supporting.''
